Parking tickets anger me beyond belief.

So I'm sure someone was wondering why I even bothered coming today. Well after last class I received a parking tickets for $30 because I didn't know it was a 24/7 hour parking lot. If anyone has noticed....the whole IUPUI parking system is now 24/7, no more after 4PM etc. So I came to class and I sat for a bit then realized...Hey..Wait a minute...If I leave my car out there any longer I'll get another ticket, so I went to go print my parking pass off, that's when I left. So I go to buy the pass andddddddd NOW I have to pay off the last ticket first before I get my pass!!! I appealed the pass right away though so I have to wait until they give me the go. Thank god class isn't until next Wednesday, that is more than enough time. I really fucking wanted to present the photo I've been working on to see what ideas could be thrown at me. Ha its funny how I'm being punished to go to school. Forgive my rudeness Side Seeing Queen Beth.

Inspiration Palooza

I've been working on this photo now for a day, I have a lot of work left to do on it, but I'll give you a sneak peak and go ahead and leave any comments about changes or ideas you have on it. I spoke with my friends all night about politics and history, so that was my inspiration. I'm always trying to figure life out so here is some imagery!

This image is not even halfway finished!!

I'm distracted outside

I thought I felt pretty opened up to everyone after today. I just have an extreme difficulty trying to focus outside. I enjoyed walking around today though in shorts. Something was just missing in class though, we lacked that extra umpfff that we needed. So I can't really write much, because I will admit that I spaced out the whole time. I'm ending it at this then!

Reinvent the wheel

I am describing my Rules who needs them project. It's a video that is about 57 or so seconds long. The summary is that a man drives through an apartment complex breaking several rules without a second thought. I really enjoyed making this and seeing the final product. I made this project for class, but in the end it was more for fun. I like a lot about this project so it's hard for me. I enjoy the music selection and the scene with the man hitting a pedestrian the most. Although I have a few dislikes, such as the car pulling into the spot is choppy, the scene with the driver driving with his feet could have been more free-flowing, and the credits and intro could involve more design. After completing this project I learned a lot about camera shots and attempting to make the stop motion have a higher quality. A fresh approach could possibly be, splattering blood all over the windshield upon impact, or investing in a tripod for more consistent shots. I chose this particular project because its the one I have put the most work into since beginning this class. I want to see if maybe I can make the credits and intro a lot better or even fine tune the video after looking through it a few more times! I will post the project with a better intro and credits. I'm afraid that if I mess with the shots within the video I will end up working a lot longer than planned. I want to fix the shots, but it will take a few nights.

Here is my edit!

Sailing away.

So it was around six to nine o'clock where I began my adventure. I'm sure most people spent their time doing something unique and exciting. I on the other hand did what I absolutely love to do when I have some free time, sit on my computer and space out. I usually have some music playing or turn a few lights on that set the mood, or maybe even some candles. I would have to say it's the most relaxing thing to do out of my whole day. Come home, set the mood, and then sit and escape. So on that day I sat back and did what would be the most pleasurable for me, I played a new game and listened to music, utter euphoria.

Vacation....

So you would think by me saying vacation that I meant something exciting and new, but that's not the case. My vacation consisted of me doing what I do best, surf the internet and playing a game on my computer. Aside from going out to bars or clubs, what is there to do in Indy but sit? I wanted to do something amazingly cool and fun, but the weather outside was horrible. So all I have said is buts, and buts are excuses so maybe next time I'll get out and have an amazing post about what I did on my free three hours. Honestly they were no different than most of the day. I was actually disappointed that class was canceled, I wanted to present my video from the last assignment. Thus concludes a night of normality.

Rules, who needs them?

I decided to make a stop motion video about a guy breaking several rules. He commits a hit and run, speeding, running a stop sign, parking in a handicapped spot, and reading instead of driving..

Recapping the chairs

I really saw a lot of good work out there, which made me feel the urge to do more on my next project. I would have to say the music video about eating the egg hit me at home the most. Ha I loved how a simple egg could be portrayed so dramatically and intensely by everyone's videos. I actually tried a little social experiment of my own. I made it a point to sort of break the social rules during our assignment presentations. Instead of following the norm and being very in depth and speaking about the emotions you felt while doing the assignment, I acted like I just didn't care and there was no depth to my project. Everything I do every day has depth and meaning, and I swear every day I'm living a new experience. When I took the picture of the egg covered in wax I was trying demonstrating another way of me fighting lust and obsession, but I severely downplayed it while talking to the class about it to sort of break a social rule. So I can't say I just don't care, because I do. I pay attention and over analyze everything in my life. I enjoyed the class, and scooting around in my chair in the hallway. I'll admit there were times I spaced off, but I'm only human. So I'm ready for next time, I wonder what will happen. It seems regardless of this class that I'm always going through something odd or people are coming to me with the oddest of problems. I'm always experiencing something, be it a robbery, or someone having some crazy event happen to them and it effecting me in some way. I'm glad to say I've lived a very eventful life so far.A person has to open their eyes, because something crazy is always happening to us, we just have to open the window to the box we live in.

Egg like wax fetish...

What else is there to do with an egg other than dousing it in wax, and letting it enjoy the painful sensation of this new found fetish? Eleanor is only a few weeks old, but she is enjoying every second of the future. She barely knows what it holds, and nothing more excites her!!!

Duct tape, say what?

Who would've thought a college class could finally be interesting? I'm just ready to start the duct taping! I thought that was the most interesting part of the whole lecture, and honestly I hope we encounter something like that soon. This should be a very interesting few weeks. Honestly I almost threw the egg against the white board after she handed to me, but cleaning it up would've been a hassle I wouldn't want to deal with. Seeing the expressions and the reactions from the room would've been very interesting though. What is to come next? So those are my thoughts on how the first class went! YOOOOOOOOOOO
